At around 5:00 on Saturday, a shot was fired in the ‘Snob Club’ nightclub in Schaerbeek, Brussels.
The Brussels public prosecutor’s office has confirmed the incident. Security personnel managed to overpower two suspects. The police subsequently arrested them.
The police received a call about the shooting incident at ‘Snob Club’ on Leuvensesteenweg around 5:00 on Saturday.
“There was a shooting incident following a dispute,” stated public prosecutor’s spokeswoman Sarah Gillet on Saturday morning. No one was injured. The prosecutor’s office indicated that two suspects were taken into custody.
Initial information suggests that the incident is not related to the Brussels drug war. The investigation is ongoing, with a forensic lab and a ballistic expert called to the scene. No details are known about the type of weapon used.
