Popular bar and brewer Brussels Beer Project is set to open the doors of a huge new brewery with a massive beer garden this weekend along the canals of Anderlecht, southwest Brussels.
The Brussels Beer Project has been serving up the best in craft Belgian beer out of its bars since 2013, with its first in Saint-Catherine and a second in the building of the old Michael Collins pub in Châtelaine.
Since then, it has even expanded abroad, with locations in Paris, the Netherlands, and even as far as Shinjuku, Tokyo.
The new 1,000 metres squared BBP Port Sud is the latest offering of the Belgian beer specialists, who are keen to capitalise on the craft brewing revival in Brussels.
In a comment to Belgium newspaper La Libre Belgique, BPP organisers state that they expect to receive up to 2,000 beer lovers during the opening weekend.

10 million bottles of beer per year
Visitors will be able to drink outside in the summer sun (or rain) among the BBP's large brewing vats.
BBP has already been brewing up to 20,000 litres of beer per day at the new site, or 10 million bottles of beer per year. Having received nearly €6 million in investment, the new location will become the largest beer venue in all of Brussels.
