A collision involving a van and three other vehicles near Jette has caused lengthy road traffic backlogs on Brussels' outer Ring.
The incident happened just after 07:00 on Thursday morning. The cars first obstructed two of the three traffic lanes leaving only the centre lane available.
The right lane has now been reopened, according to Peter Bruyninckx, a spokesperson for the Flemish Trafic Centre. The incident has caused a delay of up to an hour. "
Bruyninckx added that rubberneckers were causing queues on the other side of the road.
