A group of several dozen Russian nationals demonstrated outside the Russian embassy in Uccle on Saturday. The group was protesting against what it called “Russian terrorism”, namely the war in Ukraine and recent attacks on non-military targets.
"We are protesting against the Russian terrorist actions in Ukraine," said Denis Kutuzov, initiator of the Russian Solidarity in Belgium group. "We demand the immediate withdrawal of the troops. We want an end to the killing of Ukrainian and Russian people."
The demonstrators called for the immediate end to armed hostilities and a return to the negotiating table.
