Free concerts will be taking place across Brussels from 21 to 25 June as Belgium's French-speaking community celebrates the 'Fête de la Musique'.
The event is celebrating its 39th edition and has organised events in 51 towns across Brussels and Wallonia. The largest party will be held in the capital's Cinquantenaire Park on 23 and 24 June, with an eclectic line-up featuring rap, rock, psychedelic, reggae and pop artists.
Most events will take place on 21 June though, when the Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra will board the capital's tram and metro lines at 16:00 and treat the capital's commuters to a performance. An open-air concert will also be held at Place Poelaert with DJ sets galore under the theme of 'Join the joy'.
The Jenlis trio is also set to perform on the same day at the Wallonia-Brussels Federation's parliament building near the Royal Park. Their performance is set to include music from famed composers Ennio Morricone and Hans Zimmer.
