Take culinary experiences to new heights, the "Dinner on the Wheel" concept will return to the Brussels Ferris Wheel on Place Poelaert in September.

From 6 to 14 September, diners will be invited to climb aboard one of the 40 gondolas of the large Ferris Wheel which stands next to the Palais de Justice, looming over the Belgian Capital. Every night, the restaurant hovers up to 50m above the region, can seat up to 160 guests (40 gondolas of four people) and travels at a speed of 2 km/hour to avoid spillages.

For a hefty price tag of €250, they will be able to enjoy a five-course meal, prepared and served by their top Michelin-starred chefs, while taking in the panoramic view and skyline of the city.

During the aperitif, hosts will serve up four appetisers at the foot of the Ferris wheel, before diners will be asked to board their gondola. Here, they will enjoy five courses on board (two extra appetisers, a starter, a main dish and a dessert). The meal will be accompanied by champagne and a selection of prestigious wines.

Once diners have returned to ground level, a Grand Cru coffee will be offered in the bar lounge, accompanied by sweets.

All the gastronomic menus will be prepared and served in person by some of Belgium's most famous and prized chefs in a kitchen located under the Ferris wheel. The concept will be opened by Giovanni Bruno, chef of the Senzanome, which in 2022 was listed in the 50 Top Italy, a prestigious ranking of Italian restaurants around the world.

The third edition of the dining experience will continue with Arnaud Delvenne, a former Top Chef finalist who now owns his own restaurant Nono, in Liege, which opened last year. Food lovers will also be able to sample the cuisine of Chefs Grégoire Gillard (Barge), Manon Schenk (Table de Manon) and Charles Jeandrain (Attablez-vous).

This is just one of many unique dining experiences in Brussels. In June, thousands of guests were hosted at a table perched 50 metres above the Lion’s Mound, highlighting the history of the Battle of Waterloo, Napoleon and the Duke of Wellington. Furthermore, this autumn the unique Tram Experience returns, inviting people aboard one of the capital's iconic trams for a gastronomic tour of Brussels.

Reservations for the Dinner on the Wheel can be made here from €250 per person.
