The Royal Greenhouses in Laeken are normally closed to the public but open their doors for three weeks each year. Now, just three days after the start of ticket sales, all available tickets are already sold out.
As usual, the Royal Greenhouses in Laeken open their doors to the general public for three weeks. This year that period runs from 25 April to 20 May.
Ticket sales for the visits started last Thursday, and immediately went hard. Due to the great interest, the website's servers were already overloaded on the first day – resulting in many people having trouble buying their tickets.
Therefore, extra time slots were added for this edition, good for a total capacity of 148,000 people – almost 40,000 more than last year.
Still, those who did not decide quickly enough will have to wait another year for a visit: on Sunday, all available slots appeared to be sold out.
