The Belgian railway company, SNCB, is seeking a buyer for four enormous office complexes at the Brussels-Midi station, totalling 150,000 square metres (m2), as reported in L'Echo.

The rail operator has just listed for sale four colossal office complexes situated in the vicinity of the station on its dedicated real estate web page.

These four buildings amount to an aggregate area of 150,000 m2. Half of this space originates from the France-Bara complex, opposite the international station, consisting of 12 buildings including workshops and depots.

The Atrium, a triangular office building on the Hal Gate Boulevard, offers nearly 50,000 m2 spread out over 15 floors. Additionally, the two interconnected office blocks, Delta-Zennewater, located beside the railway tracks, are also up for sale.

The sale is a result of SNCB's ambitious but slow-moving project for a new headquarters. The railway firm aims to refurbish the old postal sorting office on the opposite side of the station, on Avenue Fonsny, to house all its capital-city staff.
