A 40-year-old man was injured in a knife attack on Rue des Petits Carmes in Uccle on Friday afternoon. The perpetrator is still on the run, and a police operation is underway to apprehend the suspect.
Just before 14:45, a man was injured after someone lashed out at him with a knife, as reported by Bruzz and confirmed by the local Marlow police zone (Uccle, Auderghem, Watermael-Boitsfort).
Emergency services were called to the scene to attend to the victim. The perpetrator managed to escape and is still on the run, according to the police.
However, they have identified a suspect, and a police operation is underway in the neighbourhood. The police say that the perpetrator and victim knew each other.
Nothing is known about the victim's condition for now.
