Filming for the Netflix series 'The Golden Hour' will be taking over Brussels until the end of the month. The casting agency is still looking for around 400 extras to participate in the second season of the crime show, Bruzz reported on Tuesday.
The first season of the AVRO-Netflix Dutch series came out in 2022. It follows Mardik Sardagh, a detective investigating suspects of a terrorist attack in Amsterdam, one of which could be his childhood friend, Faysal.
The second season will take the investigation throughout Europe, including Brussels, according to Bruzz. Filming will take place in multiple areas of the capital, including on Rue de la Loi and Parc du Cinquantenaire in the European Quarter.
The casting agency is looking for people between 20 and 70 years old, preferably with previous experience as actors. The roles available for extras vary between bystanders, police officers, journalists, bodyguards and secret agents.
Extras will be needed from 20 to 23 January. They will be paid €60 per day and will have access to the catering service.
Anyone interested in being an extra can apply via the casting agency's online form.
