Several weapons and a large load of drugs were found in an empty flat in the Brussels municipality of Molenbeek-Saint-Jean, reported the Brussels Public Prosecutor's Office. The police confiscated everything.
The drugs and weapons were discovered on Wednesday by a municipal worker in a flat in Avenue de Roovere in Molenbeek.
It was reportedly an empty building with social flats that were to be renovated soon.
According to the Brussels Prosecutor's Office, four weapons and a large quantity of drugs were involved.
Officially, nothing is known about the nature of the weapons yet, but several media reported that it concerns weapons of war.
The police confiscated all items. An investigation is ongoing into who left the drugs and weapons.
