The Brussels-Capital/Ixelles police zone solved two bicycle thefts on 10 and 13 August, after having spotted the stolen bikes on a second-hand sales website, which led to the thieves being arrested with the help of inspectors from their 'Véloflic' section.

In this case, police officers made an appointment with both sellers and subsequently arrested the individuals. They were interrogated and then released pending further investigation, with both bikes being returned to their owners.
