Flights to and from Brussels Airport are running as usual on Tuesday, following the terror attack near Place Sainctelette on Monday evening in which two Swedish nationals were killed.
An airport spokesperson noted that passengers should remain vigilant and that additional security precautions have been taken. These include a tightening of security checks at the entrance to the airport as well as an increased presence of police forces.
The airport indicates that it is monitoring the situation and consulting with the competent federal authorities.
The first flight to Sweden is scheduled for 09:40.
