The sixth edition of 'Music City Hall' will take place on Sunday 12 November at Brussels City Hall in Grand Place, the office of the Brussels councillor for Culture and Major Events announced.
The public will have the opportunity to attend 18 free concerts in various rooms of the building from 14:00 to 20:00.
"Tourists, music lovers and the curious will be able to enjoy an afternoon of hip-hop, soul, jazz, Arab-Andalusian sounds and classical music in the unique City Hall setting," the councillor's office enthused.
Held in Brussels' emblematic City Hall, the free musical event will give visitors the opportunity to combine a taste for music and architecture.
"This event resonates with our political will to make heritage and culture accessible to all," emphasised the Mayor of Brussels, Philippe Close. "On 12 November, the doors of this Gothic jewel will be wide open for a timeless musical experience," he added.
The programme will include performances by hip-hop artist Spacebabymatcha, Laila Amezian, Chaabi Habibi Andaloussi, Flamenco Puro Tawsen and jazz and soul singer Jazmyn.
The Salle Gothique will host performances by classical composer Frederik Croene and contemporary pianist Eric Bribosia. DJ duo Groove Travellerz will be bringing the Salle des Milices to life with a five-hour DJ set.
