Not even a week after its third CLUB edition took place last weekend, the Brussels festival Couleur Café has announced 12 new acts, including jazzy Jamaican Masego, rapper/poet Cristale and local talent Morgan.

The festival takes place from 28 to 30 June in Osseghem Park, at the foot of the Atomium. Couleur Café already secured the likes of Action Bronson, Tyla, Fatoumata Diawara, Bad Gyal, Tems and JPEGMAFIA, among many others, and has now released another 12 acts.

On the first day of the festival, Jamaican artist Masego will grace the stage with his unique TrapHouseJazz style – a fusion of cello, drums, piano, guitar and saxophone. Some grade-A rap will follow with Dikke, an emerging talent closely following the footsteps of Flemish hip-hop icons.

From rumba to hip-hop

Saturday will feature Brussels-based Morgan, who will captivate his crowd with a sweet RnB infusion of jazz, soul and funk nuances over pulsating electro beats. On the same day, young British prodigy Cristale will perform: a rapper, poet, visual artist, and student with a trademark spitfire of rhymes.

Also on Saturday, Congolese superstar Ferre Gola will showcase his unmatched mastery of the Congolese rumba. Wrapping up the day, Roots Explosion promises an explosive fusion of folk and dub through their sound system.

Sunday's lineup will feature British rapper Lord Apex, whose sound spans from chilled rap to alternative hip-hop. Also on the stage that day is South African powerhouse Sho Madjozi, who will take on Osseghem Park with the best of her country's rich music scene: from Amapiano, Qcom to afropop offerings.

Jah Lil will spread messages of love and resilience while carrying the reggae torch, and Sanga Mama Africa will bring a burst of optimism with her reggae-roots tunes and Jamaican rhythms featuring Kenyan singer, Black Omolo.

Additionally, Biga*Ranx – already announced during the previous batch of unveiled acts – will also take on the role of beatmaker under his alter ego, Telly*. Austin Millz, on the other hand, will close the festival in style with a raving set reflecting his roots in Harlem, transcending the boundaries of hip-hop, RnB, soul, and dance music.

All camping tickets have already been sold out, as have 70% of the combi-tickets. All tickets and info available on the website.
