A man was arrested in front of the Embassy of United States in Brussels on Tuesday for threatening someone with a knife, the Brussels-Capital/Ixelles police zone confirmed.
The man was drunk and brandishing a knife, but his arrest went "without incident."
The situation has gone back to normal in the meantime.
"Around 11:00, our police officers were contacted by the United States Embassy because a man was threatening an individual with a knife near the building, located on Boulevard du Régent," a police spokesperson said.
