The maximum price for heating oil (50S) will fall sharply on Saturday by more than 28 cents per litre.
This means that a household order of 2,000 litres will be some €570 cheaper, Le Soir reports.
The new maximum price for heating oil is €1.1046 per litre for an order of at least 2,000 litres, the Federal Public Service Economy announced on Friday.

Currently, it is still €1.39 per litre, a record. The maximum price for orders of less than 2,000 litres will fall to €1.1352 per litre on Saturday, another reduction of more than 28 cents.
Heating oil has become more expensive since the Russian invasion of Ukraine on 24 February.
Maximum prices have been above €1 per litre since the beginning of March.
