British business newspaper the Financial Times (FT) has chosen Belgian Roularta Printing as its partner for printing its magazines destined for Europe, the Middle East, and South Africa, Roularta announced on Monday.
The Financial Times magazines How to Spend It, Art of Fashion, Business Education, and FT Wealth will all be produced on Belgian soil.
"Our continued focus on sustainability played a key role in FT’s decision," rejoices Steven Renders, General Manager at Roularta Printing. "This year, we invested €4.5 million in replacing our ovens with energy-efficient alternatives. We are already looking forward to a long and fruitful partnership.”
Roularta Media Group owns several of its own magazines in Belgium, both in Dutch and French, as well as numerous local media outlets in Flanders, and stakes in economic and business publications, such as De Tidj and L'Écho, in which RMG holds a 50% stake.
In total, the Belgian company employs 1,300 people and generates a consolidated turnover of €343 million.
