At least two officers of the police zone Mechelen-Willebroek have filed a complaint against a male colleague, accusing him of slipping something into their drinks during a party in Antwerp.
The Antwerp public prosecutor's office is investigating the case, reports De Standaard.
“What exactly happened at the party is currently being investigated thoroughly,” said public prosecutor Kristof Aerts.

The investigation is now in the hands of the General Inspectorate, which controls the police services.
“The male colleague will be questioned, so that we also know his version of the facts, but we obviously take this case very seriously.”
The police district also started a disciplinary procedure to determine whether the man should be suspended pending the investigation.
