Police in Brussels-South arrested two men who were found to be carrying 20 kilograms of cannabis and €300,000 two weeks ago.
The police found the drugs and while investigating a suspicious vehicle in Anderlecht, and searches in Vilvoorde and Mechelen led them to uncover the cash, according to Bruzz.

“The two suspects who were arrested during the check in Anderlecht were subsequently arrested by the Brussels investigating judge on suspicion of possession and sale of narcotics,” said prosecutor Willemien Baert.
The men’s sentence has been extended by one month while the matter is still being investigated.
