Limburg's prosecutor's office has opened an investigation following a woman’s suspicious death in Bilzen.
The victim aged 51 was found dead Sunday in her flat on Klokkestraat.
Emergency relief intervened around 3 am on Sunday but could not do anything to save the woman. A friend who was at the premise will be interviewed at a later stage.
A forensic team and the forensic laboratory were sent on site, and a thorough autopsy will be performed. Meanwhile, the prosecutor say that a suspect has been detained for questioning.
