Kevin De Bruyne is one of six candidates nominated for the Player of the Year award by the Professional Players Association in England (PFA).
As revealed on Wednesday, the Belgian midfielder, who won the Premier League with Manchester City this season, will attempt to become the first three-time recipient of the award.
However, he will face stiff competition in the form of three Liverpool players, Virgil van Dijk, Sadio Mané, and Mohamed Salah, as well as Tottenham's Harry Kane and Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United).
