Domenico Tedesco has been officially appointed to lead the Red Devils as head coach of Belgium's national football team. The German-Italian's name had been tipped as the heavy favourite to replace Roberto Martinez.
As reported last week, the Belgian Football Association has named the 37-year-old as the new head coach for Belgium's national football team, his fourth-ever job in football management. His first match in charge will be on 24 March in a European Championship qualifier against Sweden.
Tedesco will be charged with leading Belgium's stars into a new era, after the Red Devils' six-year partnership with previous coach Roberto Martinez who resigned after a group-stage elimination at last year's World Cup.
