The long-awaited launch of Disney+ in Belgium has been finally announced, with the service confirmed to arrive in 2020.
The entertainment giant's online hub for streaming almost all of its content will be available in Belgium from September, the company announced through Facebook. The popular streaming service was already available in several other European countries for some time, with no word on further expansion.
With the news, Belgium joins France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, Switzerland and Austria, who have had the service since March. Disney+ already has 54 million subscribers worldwide.
The streaming service - which gives access to the full catalogue of Disney, Star Wars and Marvel, as well as The Simpsons - costs €6.99 per month.
