The city of Dinant, in Wallonia's Namur Province, will host the European Cryptozoology Conference from 1 to 3 November.
Experts will be giving talks and leading workshops on “mysterious and legendary” creatures, such as the Loch Ness Monster and Bigfoot, at the conference.
The programme includes presentations in both French and English, with translation provided for international sessions.
One of the featured specialists, Eric Joye, is the founder of the Belgian Association for the Study and Conservation of Rare Animals, ABEPAR.
ABEPAR has been dedicated to researching and preserving rare and little-known animal species for over 30 years.
Joye has conducted numerous expeditions worldwide, from searching for the mythical Bigfoot in North America’s dense forests to exploring elusive creatures in remote areas.
The organisers highlighted his extensive experience in a press release.
