Brussels is getting a touch of Sweden as IKEA has opened a pop-up coffee bar in the city's European Quarter. And yes, you can get their popular Swedish cinnamon buns there.
Until 7 May, the local coffee bar Living Room on Place Jean Rey will be transformed into a piece of Sweden. The pop-up bar was created to mark the launch of the Stockholm collection at IKEA, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.
The interior of the coffee bar was given a makeover by stylist Eline Ros in collaboration with the IKEA styling team to celebrate the launch of its new collection in true Swedish Fika style.

Visitors will have the chance to discover the furniture, lighting, accessories and textiles in a warm, homely setting. The collection focuses on Scandinavian design, natural materials and craftsmanship, and offers everything from solid wood furniture to hand-woven wool rugs and mouth-blown glass vases.
During the pop-up, there will also be something extra on the lunch menu: an IKEA Bun with Swedish plant-based balls. The Stockholm collection is available in all Belgian IKEA stores and online.
