On Saturday night, a shooting occurred at a property in the Antwerp district of Merksem, which had previously been targeted at the end of June.
Kristof Aerts, a spokesperson for the Antwerp Public Prosecutor's Office, confirmed that four bullets were fired at the scene, although he did not specify whether anybody was injured.
The forensic lab was on site on Sunday to conduct a trace examination, while an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing.
