The capital's football club Union Saint-Gilloise has long been planning to move to a new stadium, with their current place of residence being deemed too small compared to the side's recent success.
For example, Union has played all of their European matches this season at other stadiums, as their Joseph Marien Stadium did not fall in line with UEFA's regulations on stadium size.
Given that this recent situation has frustrated supporters, the club seem to have fastened their plans to move to the site of Bempt on Boulevard de la Deuxième Armée Britannique in the same municipality of Forest.

As a result, Union announced on Friday that they will be holding a public information session on their plans on Monday, 16 January.
The club has invited the club's supporters, inhabitants of Forest, as well as neighbouring residents of both the current and future stadium to attend the meeting. The side's objective is to give all attendees clear information on their plans as well as a chance to hear their opinions.
