A prisoner on the run in Prague, Czech Republic, was found hiding in a metro tunnel on Sunday, police announced on Monday.
Passengers at the metro stop were alerted by screams coming from the tunnel.
Metro traffic was then halted to allow emergency services to intervene. They discovered the fugitive trapped in an air shaft and freed him.
The 22-year-old man was initially not identified by the police and it was only after checking his identity that they realised he was a man who had escaped from prison on Friday.
