Nearly 70 art galleries will open their doors from 22 to 24 September at Sablon in Brussels as part of Brussels Art Square (BAS), announced a press release from the City of Brussels on Wednesday, which is backing the initiative.
The open-air exhibition will provide residents and tourists alike with an opportunity to discover exceptional pieces, inaccessible locations and contemporary artists, the organisers say.
As well as the gallery owners based at the Sablon, international galleries from Vienna, Switzerland, London and Paris, as well as other venues in Belgium, will also be exhibiting.
This will be an opportunity to contemplate pieces, sculptures, paintings, jewellery and furniture spanning 10,000 years of history and artistic movements from ancient Egypt to the present day.
The exhibition will be open from 11:00 until 19:00 on Friday and Saturday and from 11:00 until 17:00 on Sunday. More information can be found here.
