Traffic on Brussels Metro lines 2 and 6 will be interrupted between the stations of Yser and Elisabeth during the weekend of 9 and 10 March, as public transport company STIB is carrying out infrastructure works near Ribaucourt.
STIB will replace two worn-out switches and ballast at Ribaucourt metro station this weekend. The works are part of the network's regular maintenance works, but will necessitate an interruption of metro traffic.
Alternatives have been provided to get passengers to their destinations: bus lines 49 (Midi Station – Simonis) and 87 (Simonis – Beekkant) will be extended to Yser. Passengers can also use shuttle buses for their journeys between the Yser and Simonis stations.
