Belgians can enjoy a sunny week ahead, with temperatures of up to 21°C in some parts of the country on Friday.
The weather will be sunny in most regions on Tuesday afternoon, with occasional cumulus clouds in the eastern half of the country, according to the midday forecast from the Royal Meteorological Institute (RMI).
Maximum temperatures will range from 9°C to 15°C with a moderate to occasionally quite strong wind from the east to northeast. Gusts of 50 to 60 km/h will be possible in places.
On Tuesday night, the sky will be clear with lows of 1°C to 6°C and a moderate easterly wind. During the day on Wednesday, the sky will initially be clear with some clouds later on. It will be slightly warmer, with highs of 12°C to 18°C. The wind will again be moderate to quite strong, with gusts of up to 60 km/h.
On Wednesday evening, broad clear spells will alternate with some cloudy spells. Lows will be between 4°C and 9°C, with a moderate easterly wind. Gusts of up to 50 or 60 km/h will still be possible in the Ardennes.
On Thursday, the weather will be very sunny throughout the day with some high clouds. Maximum temperatures will vary between 15°C or 16°C in the Ardennes and 18°C to locally 20°C in the plains.
On Friday, the conditions will remain very bright with clear skies and rising highs of 17°C in the Ardennes or by the sea and 19°C to 21°C in lower and central Belgium.
