Traffic disruptions are expected for the rest of today on Brussels’ inner ring road due to road surface repair work.
The Flemish agency for roads and traffic issued this warning late Thursday morning. The road damage was caused by recent high temperatures.
To ensure safety during the repairs, the agency will likely need to close three lanes. This will require all traffic, including that heading towards Quatre Bras/Waterloo, to use the two lanes of the parallel road.
Normally, this road is only used by traffic using the E40 towards Liège/Brussels (Reyers).
