A national emergency management exercise organised by the National Crisis Centre and federal authorities was held on Wednesday at the Tihange nuclear power plant in Huy, Liège.
The exercise, which lasted throughout the day, simulated a nuclear accident at the plant’s facilities.
Several hundred participants were involved, including firefighters, police officers, military personnel, civil protection agents, and observers.
