Local police in Antwerp have dismantled a drug trafficking operation that was operating from a property rented out as an Airbnb.
The police arrested three suspects and confiscated small quantities of cocaine and cannabis, more than €4,000 in cash, scales, and packaging materials.
The police were tipped off about the drug dealers by local residents who had noticed a steady stream of young people on scooters coming and going from the building on Sudermanstraat.
When the authorities arrived at the scene, they saw several visitors entering the building before briefly leaving again. The police suspected that drugs were being sold there and conducted a search of the premises.
Inside, the police found the three suspects, drugs, and cash. On the roof of the building, they found the scales and packaging materials.
