Opposition party Ecolo demands that Prime Minister Bart De Wever reprimand Defence Minister Theo Francken.

Francken shared an action figure created by ChatGPT, depicting him with an accessory labelled “End of Belgium for Dummies,” on Instagram.

The action figure trend on social media allows enthusiasts to create figures of themselves, complete with matching accessories. La DH featured several politicians in this format on Thursday. Among those featured were Prime Minister De Wever, former Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo, and MR chairman Georges-Louis Bouchez.

Francken’s action figure sports a military uniform with a Flemish lion emblem and comes with accessories including a urinal, an anti-wokism first aid kit, and a book titled “End of Belgium for Dummies.”

Francken posted the figure on his Instagram page on Sunday, prompting a strong reaction from Ecolo.

“Being a federal Defence Minister and promoting the end of Belgium is unacceptable. I do not feel defended or safe. The Prime Minister must call Francken to order,” said Ecolo co-chair Marie Lecocq.
