A new market will welcome visitors every week from this Sunday on the Quai des Péniches, in Brussels' canal area, the City of Brussels announced on Friday.
Brussels' newest market will begin with an inauguration event, tempting visitors with a zero-waste food experience along the banks of Brussels' increasingly trendy canal area.
The market will feature seasonal fruits and vegetables, high-quality cheeses, artisanal bread, dried fruits, organic wine and more. The market will span along the quay and under the Suzal Daniel bridge. It is just across the canal from Brussels' popular Tour & Taxis development and the Gare Maritime.
The market can be reached from Yser metro station, Sainctelette tram stop (line 51) or a number of Brussels bus services (14, 20, 46, 86).
The market will be held from 09:00 to 15:00 every Sunday.
