Federal police launches new appeal for witnesses to fatal Clemenceau shooting

The Federal Police has issued a new appeal for witnesses concerning the fatal shooting that took place on 15 February near Clemenceau metro station in the Brussels municipality of Anderlecht.

At the request of the Brussels investigating magistrate, the Federal Police issued a new appeal for witnesses on Tuesday concerning the fatal shooting near the Clemenceau metro station in Anderlecht on 15 February.

One person died immediately at around 21:30 on that day, following shots fired at the station entrance on Chaussée de Mons.

Police say the suspect(s) was travelling in a black Volkswagen ID.3, which was found on Rue du Berceau in Brussels.

"As part of this investigation, police are looking for anyone who may have seen this vehicle as it fled the scene or was abandoned," police say.

The police previously launched an initial appeal for witnesses at the end of February concerning this incident.
