Two of the six tracks at Brussels-Central Station are currently out of service due to an accident involving a person on Friday afternoon, national rail operator SNCB announced.
"Traffic is disrupted between Brussels-North and Brussels-Midi stations," SNCB stated on social media.

The accident occurred around 16:30, according to SNCB spokesperson Dimitri Temmerman.
It is unclear for how long the rail traffic will be disrupted. However, delays, diversions and cancellations are expected, the railway company warned.
Passengers are advised to pay attention to announcements at the stations and to consult the travel planner on the SNCB app or website.
