Rescue services have been searching for a small British plane with two passengers that took off from Wellesbourne in England on Saturday morning for Le Tourquet in France.
According to the French coastguard, the plane was reported missing. Searches were conducted in the English Channel on Saturday afternoon and evening, and were scheduled to resume on Sunday morning, reports Belga News Agency.
A number of airplanes, a helicopter and a tugboat have been deployed in the search. All ships present in the search area have been asked to look for the plane and notify the French authorities should they notice anything.
