French Open: Four Belgian doubles scheduled for Sunday

On the eighth day of the French Open tennis tournament, four Belgian doubles are set to play at the Parisian Roland-Garros stadium.

Belgium's Sander Gillé and Joran Vliegen (No.10) will face Australian John Peers and Russian Roman Safiullin on Court No.4 for their second round.

Following her singles defeat, Elise Mertens will partner with Taiwan's Hsieh Su-Wei (No.1 doubles seed) for their second-round match on Court No.5 against American Emma Navarro and Russian Diana Schnaider.

Gillé will return in the fourth rotation on Court No.1 for his mixed doubles round with the Russian Vera Zvonareva (No.5 doubles seed), facing Peers partnered with American Nicole Melichar-Martinez.

Vliegen will partner with Czech Barbora Krejcikova to start their mixed doubles journey in the fourth match on Court No.2, competing against Croatians Ivan Dodig and Donna Vekic.

The Philippe-Chatrier court will see Iga Swiatek open proceedings, followed by Coco Gauff and Carlos Alcaraz in the afternoon for their quarterfinals bid, and a match between Frenchman Corentin Moutet and Jannik Sinner in the evening.

On the Suzanne-Lenglen Court, Stefanos Tsitsipas is scheduled to play in the second rotation, followed by Ons Jabeur.

Philippe-Chatrier Court (starting at 11:00) will feature Iga Swiatek (Pol/No.1) – Anastasia Potapova (Rus) followed by Coco Gauff (US/No.3) – Elisabetta Cocciaretto (Ita), Felix Auger-Aliassime (Can/No.21) – Carlos Alcaraz (Esp/No.3) (not before 14:00), and Corentin Moutet (Fra) – Jannik Sinner (Ita/No.2) (not before 20:15).

Suzanne-Lenglen Court (starting at 11:00) features Olga Danilovic (Ser) – Marketa Vondrousova (Cze/No.5); Matteo Arnaldi (Ita) – Stefanos Tsitsipas (Gre/No.9), and Clara Tauson (Dan) – Ons Jabeur (Tun/No.8).

Court No.2 (starting at 11:00) will see Joran Vliegen/Barbora Krejcikova (Bel/Cze) against Ivan Dodig/Donna Vekic (Cro) in their fourth match.

Court No.4 (starting at 11:00) will have Sander Gillé/Joran Vliegen (Bel/No.10) vs John Peers/Roman Safiullin (Aus/Rus) for its first match and Sander Gillé/Vera Zvonareva (Bel/Rus/No.5) vs John Peers/Nicole Melichar-Martinez (Aus/US) for its fourth match.

Court No.5 (starting at 11:00) will host the third match between Elise Mertens/Hsieh Su-Wei (Bel/Tai/No.1) and Emma Navarro/Diana Schnaider (US/Rus).
