At the event at the Brussels location at Grand Place, The Good Luck Burger (which was invented by a local Hard Rock Brussels chef) was sampled, and the World Burger Tour competition was launched.
Each of the 154 cafes around the world will will have their own burgers from April 22 to June 13 and each cafe will compete to have their special burger added to the menu when five of these burgers will be sold around the world in Hard Rock Cafes and Hotels from June 14 to September 2.
The Good Luck Burger features two smashed & stacked burgers, cheddar cheese, leaf lettuce, vine-ripened tomato, pickles, everything topped with pulled pork marinated with caramelized onion, bourbon, honey and cinnamon.
The special burger is available for a limited time only at the Brussels location, and based on its popularity with guests, has the chance to make it to stardom with a permanent place on the global Hard Rock Cafe burger menu.
Back by popular demand, the Hard Rock Cafe World Burger Tour encourages local team members to show off their creativity and culinary skills by submitting unique burger recipes that elevate the classic, fan-favorite meal.
The Good Luck Burger is the brainchild of José María Blanco Betoret, a 33-year old chef, at Hard Rock Cafe Brussels.
