ING Belgium and insurer NN will continue their collaboration, offering "bancassurance", until 2034, they announced in a press release on Friday.
The two financial players of Dutch origin have long been working together on the Belgian market. ING customers can access NN's insurance offers through their bank branches and digital channels, for example.
Private individuals can turn to ING for insurance in the event of death, (tax) savings or investments, but also protection in the event of damage to the home or mobility solutions.
NN was previously owned by the Dutch bank but had to spin off the insurer after the credit crunch. It was one of the imposed conditions for the state aid granted to the Dutch banking group at the time. NN is now itself listed on the stock exchange.
