Hollywood is coming to Belgium. The American blockbuster 'Now You See Me 3' will be filming in Antwerp for several days next week, and the production team have put out a call for extras to join its star-studded cast.
From 28 August to 1 September, Antwerp will host the cast and crew of 'Now You See Me 3' – the sequel to the two previous eponymous instalments about magic and illusion. The film will be released in Belgian cinemas on 12 November 2025.
Directed by Ruben Fleischer, the cast includes some of the biggest names in American cinema, from Morgan Freeman and Jesse Eisenberg to Rosamund Pike and Mark Ruffalo.

This is the third instalment of the 'Now You See Me' franchise. The film first came to the big screen in 2013 and then again in 2016, following a team of illusionists who pull off bank heists during their stage performances and reward their audiences with the money.
The production crew is looking for around 100 extras aged between 16 and 60 and from all ethnic backgrounds ("men with a nice beard" are particularly sought after). In addition, six understudies are needed for lead actors Jesse Eisenberg, Rosamund Pike, Justice Smith, Ariana Greenblatt, Dominic Sessa and Thabang Molaba.
There will be three days of filming in Antwerp. The main shoot will be on Thursday 29 August, but people may also be needed on Wednesday 28 August or Sunday 1 September. Costumes will be fitted on Monday 26 or Tuesday 27 August.
All cast members will be remunerated, and interested applicants should send in their full name, phone number, date of birth, place of residence, two or three recent photos and their availability to be in with a chance to feature.
