On Monday 20 June, a fugitive on Belgium's Most Wanted list was arrested in Greece on Monday, June 20.
Nicolas Theodorou, the 50-year-old Belgian, was apprehended by Greek authorities in the southern Peloponnese region of Greece.
The Nivelles-born fugitive was sentenced to 25 years in jail for the 1999 attempted murder of two car dealers in the Wallonia municipality of Hensies.
Theodorou will now be extradited to Belgium, 17 years after his initial sentencing.

New and helpful features were discovered as a result of the Hackathon organised by the Federal Police's Fugitive Active Search Team team of the Federal Police at the end of March, which was attended by personnel of various security services.
This is the second time this year a fugitive from the Most Wanted list has been arrested by police.
