After passing all entry requirements including physical, psycho-technical and sports tests as well as exams in mathematics, French and Dutch, Prince Gabriel – second child of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde – will start at the Royal Military Academy (RMA) on 22 August, the Royal Palace announced on Monday.
The prince recently completed a preparatory course at the National Mathematics & Science College in Warwickshire, a county in central England. He will turn 19 on 20 August.

At RMA, Prince Gabriel will be studying Social and Military Sciences in Dutch and will be a part of the 162nd class, the royal household said in a statement.
Prince Gabriel is second in the order of succession to the Belgian throne after his sister Elisabeth, who also attended the first year of the Social and Military Sciences course at RMA in 2020-2021.
