Prime Minister Alexander De Croo and Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib arrived in Kyiv on Saturday morning for an unannounced visit.
This is the first time that the Belgian Prime Minister has set foot in Ukraine since 24 February and the start of the Russian invasion of the country. Many leaders and heads of government had preceded him.
De Croo and Lahbib will use the visit to announce additional Belgian support of around 37.4 million euros. The Prime Minister has indicated that Belgium will continue to provide support to Ukraine.
