No scheduled flights will be able to operate at Stuttgart Airport on Friday due to a strike call by the Verdi union, the German airport operator announced on Wednesday.
Only safety landings and medical or military flights will be allowed to operate.
A total of 169 flights were scheduled for Friday. Some 20,000 passengers will be affected by the strike.
In addition to Stuttgart Airport, Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden Airport will also be affected by a strike throughout the day.
The action is linked to ongoing wage negotiations. Stuttgart Airport was already paralysed by a strike on 17 February, when 160 flights were cancelled.
