The Citroën DS will be showcased at an exhibition to be held at the Autoworld car museum in Brussels from 25 April to 29 June to mark the iconic model’s 70th anniversary.
A unique collection of Citroën DS cars will on display, featuring almost every version and variant, according to Autoworld. Enthusiasts will be able to see models ranging from the first ID19 to the ID19 Pallas, ending with the DS23 Pallas, last produced in 1975.
A singular exhibit will be the Citroën DS ‘Ballons,’ which has large red balls instead of wheels. This sculpture, created by Claude Puech in 1959, is based on the Citroën DS and represents the comfort of hydropneumatic suspension, giving the sensation that the car is floating, according to the organisers.
