A young girl was injured on Wednesday morning after being hit by a tram in Liège, according to the Liège police department.
The accident occurred shortly after 09:00 at the junction of Boulevard d'Avroy and Avenue Maurice Destenay.
A tram knocked over the young girl who sustained minor injuries. The circumstances of the incident are yet to be determined.
"There is significant traffic disruption in the direction from Boulevard d’Avroy to the city centre. Buses are also blocked from Guillemins to the city centre," said Liège police in a statement.
